Frontier Risk Group Inc., Frontier Risk Insurance Services LLC and their affiliates (collectively, the “Company”) respect your privacy and are committed to collecting, maintaining and using personal information about you responsibly. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all of your use of www.frontierrisk.com (the “Site”) including services offered through related sites (including, without limitation, app.frontierrisk.com and https://knowyourcoverage.co/), which are together referred to as “Company Sites”, and any of the Company’s applications, products or services (collectively, the “Services”). To the extent that any of those Services include specific privacy policies or terms and conditions, they will take priority over this Policy. This Policy describes how your personal information will be treated as you use the Company Sites and Services.

1. Information we collect from you when you visit company sites
Like many websites, our server logs capture, and we have in the past 12 months collected, the following internet or other electronic network activity information: information regarding Company Site users’ operating systems, browser software, type and language, IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, location data, mobile device ID, services navigation history and habits, operating system, and the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstreams to, through and from the Company Sites, including date and time. We may use this information to improve the services we provide through the Company Sites, to monitor and improve the performance of our servers, to administer the Company Sites, and to protect and defend our rights, property or safety or that of our clients and other users of the Company Sites. We may collect, the fact that Company Site visitors’ watched and when they watched programs on the Company Sites. We may log this information to determine which videos that Company Sites’ visitors consider useful.
2. Information you submit to us through the company sites
You are not required to submit any Personal Data to the Company Sites. However, you may choose to do so by completing forms available in several sections of the Company Sites, including our survey or an insurance pre-qualifier or application. “Personal Data” means data that you provide allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, social security (only if provided through an insurance or bond application) as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. We may collect Personal Data from you, such as (i) your first and last name, e-mail, mailing address, social security number (only if provided through an insurance or bond application), and phone number, (ii) data you provide on a job application, (iii) financial information, such as your insurance policy information and premium payment or claims history, or (iv) credit card, bank account or other account information as may be required to facilitate your payment of insurance premium or similar amounts, provided, that, for subsection (iv) such information is provided through payment processing systems maintained by third parties, such as insurance carriers or our payment processor, and such data is not stored on our Company Sites in any manner and will be subject to such third party privacy policies and terms. If you provide us feedback, complete the survey or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the form. We may also collect Personal Data at other points in the Company Sites that state that Personal Data is being collected. We use that information for the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with the privacy wording on the relevant part of the Company Sites. In addition, we may use this information to:
- carry out any obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and the Company;
- provide you with insurance coverage and related services;
- communicate with you about insurance policies and premiums;
- assist with claims management or processing of insurance claims and payments;
- communicate with you about our business;
- provide publications, products and services you request;
- invite you to, and register you for, events;
- add you to mailing lists and send you marketing materials we believe will be of interest to you;
- process and respond to requests, enquiries and complaints;
- develop new Services, conduct research and to create anonymous or aggregated reporting for its own use;
- evaluate and improve the Services we offer or may offer in the future;
- maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Services, for example, by authenticating users and providing account security and fraud detection;
- monitor, detect, and prevent fraud and improper or illegal activity;
- use inferences drawn from personal information to create a profile reflecting your preferences, so we can tailor our Services to you;
- process and complete transactions, including collecting payment and contact information to process your transactions;
- process your employment application, including verifying statements made on your application (e.g., credit and employment history) and performing background and credit checks; and
- comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
If you choose, you may interact with the Company via social media websites, plug-ins, or applications. Your privacy settings on social media platforms determine the information made available to the Company when you engage with the Company via social media. Please refer to the privacy statements, settings and helps guides of these social media platforms to learn more.
If you choose to enter your business name in our “See Your Savings” report, you agree to allow us to use publicly available databases to generate a personalized savings report. This process may require limited access to identifiable personal data, which will be handled following applicable data protection laws.
If you choose to upload insurance policy documents (“Uploaded Documents”) for analysis thought our “Know Your Coverage” tool, our service includes certain features powered by ChatGPT, provided by OpenAI, to create a coverage summary. This tool is designed to help you understand the terms within your insurance policy, though it does not replace consultation with a licensed insurance professional. Uploaded documents are processed securely and retained for tool accuracy and may be anonymized for aggregated industry trend analysis. This analysis is solely based on the uploaded text and may not capture every detail or endorsement within the policy. Please refer to the disclaimer provided on the tool for further details on the limitations of this service. When you engage with these features, certain data may be processed by OpenAI in accordance with OpenAI’s Privacy Policy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Data entered may be transmitted to and processed by OpenAI.
- OpenAI’s data practices apply to data handled within these interactions.
- OpenAI may collect and process this data independently of our company, and we do not control or oversee their data management practices.
Your information may be accessed by other third party service providers who will process that information solely for our benefit and in accordance with our instructions - see Section 6 below for more information. However, we will not provide your personal information to or share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes except in connection with requests you make that clearly involve third parties. This might include publications produced by third parties or events that are presented or sponsored by third parties. This will be made clear to you before you sign up for the publication or event.
You shall, in relation to any Personal Data shared with the Company pursuant to the use of the Company Sites or services provide all notices, obtain all consents and take all other steps required by applicable laws in relation to your collection, processing, sharing with the Company and the Company’s use as envisaged by this Policy of such Personal Data.
By completing our survey or any other form submission on the Company Sites, you grant the Company a royalty-free irrevocable license to use the data on an anonymous basis by excluding information (such as your company name) that makes the data identifiable to your company (the “Anonymous Data”). We reserve the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties in our sole discretion.
3. Your rights to access and update your personal information
The Company takes appropriate steps to avoid unauthorized changes to personal information you submit to the Company Sites. For so long as the Company elects to continue to provide the Company Sites, and provided that you comply with all agreements concerning use of these sites, we will make all reasonable efforts to provide you with online access to your registration data and other personal information so that you may view, update or correct it. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take appropriate steps to verify your identity before granting you access or enabling you to make corrections.
We retain information that is collected through the Company Sites only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was provided, or as otherwise required for our legitimate business purposes. Even if you are no longer our customer, we may continue to share your information as described in this Policy. Your information may be retained for longer periods if there are valid legal grounds, for example if required by law or court order or to defend or pursue legal claims.
You may opt out of receiving marketing and market research communications at any time by using the unsubscribe links provided.
4. Legal basis for processing your personal information
We are generally unable to perform insurance brokerage or other insurance or financial industry services on your behalf without collecting, using, or disclosing your Personal Data. Typically, you will provide this required information to us directly within insurance applications or in connection with other communications. Other times, we may receive this and other Personal Data from third parties, including insurance carriers and other industry service providers, and other third parties with which you maintain a relationship (for example, your employer or financial service or medical or health providers). The majority of the personal information collected by the Company is provided by you voluntarily on the Company Sites, for example when you complete our survey, pre-qualifier questions, an insurance application or sign up to join a mailing list or register for an event, and is therefore collected with your permission. The remaining personal information is collected for the Company’s legitimate business purposes, for example to monitor and improve the quality of the Company Sites and our services, and to protect and defend our rights, property or safety or that of our clients and other users of the Company Sites.
5. Links
Links to web sites that are not operated by or for the Company (“Third Party Sites”) are provided solely as a convenience to you. If you use these links, you will leave the Company Site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to Third Party Sites. We have not reviewed the Third Party Sites, do not control and are not responsible for any of their content or their privacy policies, if any. We do not endorse or make any representations about them, or any information, software or other products or materials found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them. If you decide to access any of the Third Party Sites listed on or linked to from the Company Sites, you should understand that you do so at your own risk.
6. Sharing of information
We generally only disclose your Personal Data to perform services on your behalf and provide you with the insurance products and services you expect from us. In addition, in order to operate our business and to you with the services you request from us, information technology and other support service providers with which we maintain an arrangement may also have access to your Personal Data. The Company may also disclose and/or transfer your personal information (i) to insurers, reinsurers, brokers, underwriters, insurance reference bureaus, motor vehicle record lookup services, medical services providers, fraud detection agencies, loss adjusters, lawyers, accountants, and others involved in the underwriting and claims handling process; (ii) to its trusted third party service providers (for example, companies that provide systems, web hosting including microsites of the Company Sites and other IT services; internal and external advisors and auditors); (iii) if required by applicable law; (iv) in connection with a reorganization or combination of our firm with another firm, (v) if it believes that such disclosure is necessary to enforce or apply its terms of use and other agreements or otherwise protect and defend the Company’s rights, property or safety or that of our clients and other users of the Company Sites; (vi) in order to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or other legal obligation, or a regulatory or government inquiry; or (vii) with consent.
To facilitate the analysis of Uploaded Documents, we utilize third-party services, including ChatGPT, provided by OpenAI which process data on our behalf. These processors are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing the requested analysis. We have in the last 12 months disclosed for a business purpose the following categories of personal information: (i) Identifiers (name, email address, phone number, postal address, IP (Internet Protocol) address, personal and professional interests); (ii) Internet or other electronic network activity information (information regarding operating system, browser software, information regarding interaction with the Company Sites, namely the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstreams to, through and from the Company Sites, including date and time, and that programs on the Company Sites were watched and when they were watched); and (iii) professional and employment information.

We use PostHog to gather analytics on how users interact with our website. 9. Security
The Company Sites use measures that are appropriate to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorized or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, and all our employees and any third parties that process your personal information on our behalf are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your information. However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Company Sites or Services, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through the Company Sites or Services, and you do so at your own risk.
10. Agreement, changes
By submitting your personal information on the Company Sites, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information on the basis described above. If you do not agree, please do not provide any personal information via the Company Sites. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here (https://www.frontierrisk.com/privacy-policy) and we will change the “Last Updated” date above. You should consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
Any information collected under previous versions of our Privacy Policy will then become subject to the terms of our new Privacy Policy.
11. Special notice to international users
If you are visiting the Company Sites from outside of the United States, please be aware that the Company is based in the United States. Further, the Company Sites are only intended and directed towards our operations and business in the United States. Thus, you are on notice that information we obtain through the Company Sites will be transferred to, processed, and stored in our servers in the United States. The data protection laws and regulations applicable to your personal information transferred to the United States may be different from the laws in your country of residence.
12. User-generated content
Our Services, now or in the future, may provide online forums through various potential functionalities, including messaging, comments, chat rooms, blogs, and other similar mechanisms, which may allow you or its third-party business partners to provide user-generated content. The Company has no control whatsoever over the user-generated content contained in such a forum provided through our Services, and therefore will bear no liability for the content’s accuracy, suitability, legality, or inoffensiveness. The Company bears no responsibility or obligation to monitor user-generated content, but nevertheless reserves the right to remove or edit user-generated information for any reason whatsoever.
